Heather Galler inspired landscapes, Fourth Grade

Last year's fourth graders created these lovely landscapes after learning about folk art and examining the use of pattern and color by contemporary folk artist, Heather Galler.  Students focused on creating the illusion of depth and pattern. The work was created using black Sharpie, crayons and colored pencils, and the sky was created with liquid watercolor paints.
